Capital markets are documented, indexed, analyzed, and audited. Local-services markets aren't — even though they move roughly a trillion dollars a year in the United States. A homeowner looking for a contractor, a patient choosing a clinic, a family hiring a lawyer: each depends on a market nobody is measuring.
Ownlisted exists to fix that. We catalog every practice, contractor, and credentialed professional we can identify; we keep the data current; and we publish the research that catalog makes possible.

Frank founded Ownlisted in 2025 after a decade building data products for marketplaces and publishers. He writes most of the research personally and edits every piece before publish.
Ownlisted Research — the institutional byline — credits the wider editorial team contributing to each study. Named authorship is a policy, not a preference: every chart and every number names the person who produced it.
